Subcontracted for input to a study. This engagement was for a defence contractor who was divesting a division which created a high technology product. We answered several intriguing questions such as:

What price might this divestiture command? The question was compounded by the dramatic uniqueness of the technology, that there were established competitors (using inferior technology) and the device had yet to be employed in other than the military market.
Who were the competitors and their profiles (sales volume, market niches, etc)?
